There are many ways of approaching construction delivery in the UK. Of these , there are three most commonly used and widely recommended approaches within the construction industry. However, there are more than three methods such as  multiple prime contracts and fast-track construction employed by other companies and which ones you use willdepend on your specific requirements for construction delivery in the UK.








 
 


Advertising Plan



Of the most important construction delivery methods in the UK, the first and foremost is the design-bid-build delivery method. This is atraditional method and the first step involves having the design created by theengineers and architects and then secondly, advertising the plan so as to attract bidders from construction firms. After the winning bid has been chosen, then all parties work together to start building the project. The contract winner then has the responsibility of completing the project through managing its various resources such as labour and sub-contractors. This traditional method has several advantages although there are a few disadvantages as well. Build Delivery Method



The second most important construction delivery method in the UK is the design-build delivery method. In this method, the owner chooses a contractor to create the design and building the project.
